GivingTuesday is not just a day; it's a year-round collaboration that unites people worldwide in the pursuit of building a world where generosity is ingrained in our daily lives. Whether it's a simple act of kindness, supporting a cause, or contributing to someone's well-being, every gesture matters. This sentiment is at the heart of Hygiene Hub, an Irish charity giving hygiene and personal care products to those who need them, which is calling on the public to #SpreadKindness this Giving Tuesday as part of our Festive Campaign by donating toiletry gift sets as well as essential hygiene products this winter.

#SpreadKindness Christmas Campaign:
This festive season, Hygiene Hub launched the #SpreadKindness Christmas Campaign, with a focus on providing at least 5,000 toiletry gift sets and essential hygiene items to those in need. Through Giving Tuesday, we encourage the public to be part of this initiative by
either contributing to the #SpreadKindness fundraiser or hosting a hygiene drive. Donors can choose to donate the cost of a gift set or organise collections of new, unopened essentials and luxury toiletries.

Impactful Presence Across Ireland:
Hygiene Hub Ireland, operational since November 2019, has established eight hubs nationwide. Through partnerships with local organisations, the charity has distributed over 50,000kg of essential hygiene products to date. The purpose of these hubs is to address the pressing issue of hygiene poverty, ensuring that individuals and families receive the necessary products even when faced with financial constraints.

Announcing the launch of the #SpreadKindness Christmas campaign, Ciára Dalton, Head of Partnerships at Hygiene Hub, said: “We know that Christmas can be an especially stressful time; this is why we started our #SpreadKindness Campaign. We are asking the
public to join us in spreading kindness to make life a little easier for those of us who need it. Help us provide 5,000 gift sets and donations of essential hygiene items to those that may otherwise go without this winter.”

Supporters can contribute to the #SpreadKindness Campaign this Giving Tuesday in three ways:

Hygiene Hub will be collecting donations for #SpreadKindness from November 1st, 2023, until December 4th, 2023. Donations will be sorted and distributed to charity partners in time for Christmas. For more information on donations, interested parties can contact
info@hygienehub.ie or visit Hygiene Hub’s website and Instagram page: @hygienehubire.

In the true spirit of Giving Tuesday, let us join hands to make this festive season a time of spreading kindness and making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.
