With the generous support of architect Dermot Bannon of RTE’s Room to Improve, our Georgian house in Dublin 6 will be transformed into an accommodation facility where family members can stay while their loved one is in the hospital.
Cystic fibrosis patients regularly experience extended hospital stays, and families travel from all over Ireland for treatment in Dublin hospitals. Our house will make it possible for families to be close to their loved one during the stressful period of hospitalisation without having to worry about paying for a hotel room or commuting long distances daily.
No other such accommodation exists in Ireland today, and your kind support this Giving Tuesday will bring us one step closer to opening our doors in 2024!
Watch our video to see Julian and Dermot discuss the vision for the house, and donate here.
